AC-DC AT THE OLYMPICS

Written by on February 21, 2018

One of the dizzying zeniths of the Winter Olympics, a Hungarian figure skater performed to AC/DC today (21st February).

19-year-old Hungarian athlete Ivett Tóth took to the Gangneung Ice Arena in South Korea wearing a studded leather jacket emblazoned with an image of Angus Young doing a duck walk in his trademark schoolboy outfit.

Tóth proceeded to skate a Ladies Short program routine to AC/DC’s seminal classics ‘Back In Black’ and ‘Thunderstruck’.

The Budapest born skater went on to score a season’s best score of 53.22 – way short of the 82.92 world record set by Russia’s Alina Zagitova – however, she was the real winner in the viewers’ eyes.
