Foreigner To Go Orchestral

Foreigner have announced a new double album featuring all their biggest hits recorded with a 58 -piece orchestra and a 60-piece choir.
Released on Friday 27th April 2018, the live recording ‘Foreigner with the 21st Century Symphony Orchestra & Chorus’ documents the band’s two sold-out shows at KKL in Lucerne, Switzerland in May 2017.
The 21st Century Symphony Orchestra & Chorus were conducted by Ernst van Tiel at the shows and the album represents the culmination of a year-long collaboration between Mick Jones and Grammy nominated composing/arranging team, Dave Eggar & Chuck Palmer.
Songs that feature include ‘Juke Box Hero’, ‘Waiting For A Girl Like You’, ‘Cold As Ice’, ‘I Want To Know What Love Is’, ‘Double Vision’, ‘Urgent’, ‘Feels Like The First Time’, ‘Say You Will’ and ‘That Way Yesterday’.
Mick Jones says: “I could never have imagined when I set out to create Foreigner 40 years ago, that we’d still be touring around the world and performing the music we love all these years later.
“Dave Eggar and Chuck Palmer’s orchestral arrangements have shown us a new symphonic dimension of our music, which I hope our fans will enjoy.”
