Pyramid Progress Teams Step Forward This Week

The promotion and relegation issues are hotting up on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night in the lower reaches of the Scottish League.
On Monday evening Lothian Thistle HV take on Tynecastle as they try to make up ground on leaders Kelty Hearts in the East of Scotland League with the champions of that division admitted to the 5th tier of Scottish football [ Lowland League ] next season.
On Tuesday night Berwick Rangers are at home to Stenhousemuir and Cowdenbeath entertain Montrose in League 2. A win for the border side and a defeat for the Fifers would mean one more win for third bottom [ before Tuesday games ] Edinburgh City this season would send the Blue Brazil into the pyramid play off final against Highland or Lowland League winners.
Spartans and East Kilbride both have away matches on Wednesday night in the Lowland League, at Dalbeattie Star and Whitehill Welfare respectively, with just one point the difference between them at the top of the 5th tier.
Cove Rangers were crowned Highland League champs on Saturday 7th April and will once again make their bid for a League 2 place via the play off.
