Down To The Wire In Lowland League / East of Scotland Junior Cup Draw

Both Spartans and East Kilbride won on Wednesday night so it will be a final day showdown in the Lowland League on Saturday April 14 with Spartans at home to East Stirlingshire and Kilby at Stirling University.

EK won at Whitehill Welfare in the 6.30pm kick off in midweek while later in the evening the Edinburgh club won at Dalbeattie Star.

Spartans lead the league by one point from EK and are in pole position as far as the race for the title and the pyramid play off is concerned.

Cowdenbeath will finish bottom of League 2 if they lose at Peterhead on Saturday and are likely to join Highland League champions Cove Rangers in the play off with the Fifers awaiting the winners of the Lowland League champions v Cove over two legs.

A place in League 2 next season is up for grabs.
